Clancy Pendergast has went from a Chiefs coach to a Chiefs enemy.

Bill Williamson is reporting that Clancy has signed with the Oakland Raiders and will take over as the defensive backs coach for the 2010 season.

Maybe it was looked at as just another job offer for Pendergast, or maybe it was looked at as a way to get back at the Chiefs. Either way, Clancy has switched sides and although some people won’t care much about the fact that he is now a Raider, there are a lot of die hard Chiefs fans that will place Clancy into the same bracket of hatred that all other Raiders remain in.

MY TAKE

A coach that our team didn’t feel was qualified to coach here any longer, is now joining the most dysfunctional, unorganized team in sports. I have no problem with that.
